Hat Slough Paddle

Routes:  Hat Slough to Kayak Point.  This should be a good nature paddle, lots of birds and other river critters.  Planning the tides right you should be able to explore not only the Slough but also the area to the north.  Watch for mud flats at low tide.  You can make it back at low tide but it can be a challenge finding the right stream to follow.

Plan a rest stop at Kayak Point (drinks, snacks & a potty break) Distance covered is approximately 12.3 miles.  This is mostly a protected paddle except for the last couple of miles to Kayak Point.

Launch Facility: Washington State Fish and Wildlife launch  Call or e-mail for driving directions.  Discovery Pass Required!
